A former smoking room will be transformed into a new bakery. The new staircase will transform the existing space with a mirrored and material invertion.
Round cake tins‘ are stacked on the bottom to a tower, the upper part becomes more simple.
Smoked oak risers are used as lost formwork and remain in place after pouring the concrete. The concrete is added with anthroposophical Pneumatit to free the positive forces in the space.
The wooden handrail starts and ends in the form of a circular shape.
The common effort of digging in history, creating and building with all artisans, engineers and the clients leaded into a process similar to a medivial Bauhuette.
